The LEJ National Science Information Center (ICCBS) at University of Karachi has launched a new program, named “LEJ Knowledge Hub” for integrated and open learning. This is an integrated MOOC approach. The unique feature of this approach is to integrate thousands of video lecture or full courses from top Universities around the world (MIT, Udacity, Stanford Engineering Everywhere, Open Yale Courses, NPTEL, Khan Academy, Virtual University of Pakistan and other universities) at different levels, i.e. school, college, undergraduate, graduate and in various fields. Anyone can have free and ready access to the required fields of study and without any need to access to different MOOCs. They will have access to the best and carefully selected lectures and courses in their chosen disciplines. The rights for free broadcasting and non-commercial dissemination have also been obtained. The compilation and integration of lej4learning is directly supervised by most celebrated scientists of Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Atta–ur-Rahman FRS an d Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary as a monumental service to the nation and world at large.

The LEJ National Science Information Center is a magnificent gift of the Husein Ebrahim Jamal Foundation, in the memory of renowned Industrialist and visionary philanthropist Mr. Latif Ebrahim Jamal. The beautiful building of the LEJ Center was constructed under the direct support and patronage of Mr. Aziz Latif Jamal S.I. (Chairman, Husein Ebrahim Jamal Foundation), and gifted to the nation.
